2026-03-31 Executive Report - GREF
SoW Creation Initiated for Atria - GREF Migration
Based on discussions with James, the v2.0 document for the upcoming Atria - GREF initiative was updated. The final v3.0 document and a separate Milvian Level of Effort (LoE) were then updated, reviewed, approved by Nikhil and James, and uploaded to Milvian OneDrive/SharePoint.
The v3.0 includes complete details on Business Value & Benefits, project scope, high-level milestones, functional and non-functional requirements, and the Milvian-specific LoE. James has started on the Statement of Work (SoW) and plans to formally discuss it with Nathan next week, as Nathan is out of office this week. Additionally, Nikhil plans to have an informal v3.0/LoE discussion with Nathan early next week to obtain a soft approval beforehand.

BLR18 India Installs - Live Support
Live support was provided for the BLR18 energy and water meter installs throughout Friday night and over the weekend (Saturday & Sunday). Issues in the existing email bot that caused meter readings to appear as "None" were resolved. The Milesight pulse counter decoder was debugged, fixed, tested, and deployed to production. Energy meter readings were also validated with Sudheer in the lower environment before deployment.
On-site live-data verification for both energy and water meters has been successful so far, and the email bot is now functioning as expected. Validation will continue over the next few days, and any new issues will be addressed on priority.
India Installs Team - Walkthrough & Training
As discussed with Mac, Garrett, and Faris, documentation was prepared and presented to the India team covering the existing email bot/installs process and end-to-end GREF pipeline.
The existing email bot was demonstrated in detail, including the reports generated, ways to invoke it, sample requests and responses, and interpretation of the returned data. The team was also informed that the email bot will eventually be replaced through an upcoming initiative that involves GREF - Atria migration and development of a Device/Site Health application in the migrated version. The future application will use GREF APIs to provide device health, site health, and telemetry data while overcoming the performance limitations of the current bot.
Document Shared: GREF Email Bot (Existing): User Guide
A GREF-Installs user guide (tailored to the India Team) will also be shared shortly. A detailed video demonstration and other documentation already exist.
India Device Provisioning/Configuration - Support
Support was provided to the Milvian India team for device provisioning and configuration activities. Questions and issues were addressed with Srinivas and Jessica until 5 MultiTech gateways and 14 Milesight sensors were successfully configured and provisioned. A couple of gateways were also re-provisioned based on updated requests.
It was additionally verified that the gateway certificate filename inconsistency issue (identified last time) has been resolved, and certificate filenames now correctly include the AWS region.
GREF Workspace Setup & Permissions
To provide a head start for the upcoming Atria - GREF project, prerequisite Amazon workspace permissions and access requirements were reviewed in advance.
The identified permission issues were raised to Nikhil so they can be resolved before the project officially starts, helping avoid delays later. Incorrect Amazon manager assignment and title information were also raised.
Lowlights
The formal SoW discussion with Nathan could not take place this week because Nathan is out of office and traveling last Friday, which may slightly delay the project start.
The Milvian India team ideally would have benefited from a complete walkthrough of the GREF pipeline and installs/email bot process earlier, rather than immediately before the first India installs.
Device provisioning and configuration issues still crop up sometimes, but now that the process has stabilized and the team has been trained, support for these activities should require minimal effort going forward.
Overall
This week focused on finalizing the scope and planning for the GREF–Atria Migration initiative while continuing to support active India installation activities.
The final v3.0 and Milvian LoE documents were completed and shared, providing the foundation for SoW preparation. At the same time, significant effort was spent supporting BLR18 installs, resolving decoder and email bot issues, validating production data, training the India team, and supporting device provisioning. Early steps were also taken to prepare the Amazon/GREF workspace and permissions in advance to avoid delays once the project begins.
