2026-02-03 Weekly Executive Report – Sustainability
Highlights
Atria Progress & Delivery
Improved platform stability and deployment safety by fixing CDK alias issues and advancing refactoring of a large monolithic stack into safer, modular components.
Delivered multiple usability and clarity improvements across reporting and device views, reducing friction for internal teams and end users.
Infrastructure refactor with safety controls in place and migration phases completed.
Continued backend and frontend development on the tagging system for Device Dashboards, advancing CRUD APIs, UI integration, and testing to support future data organization and filtering capabilities.
Finalizing development on Device Editor backend and frontend development, with completion due this upoming week.
Finalizing development on Pulse Rate Calculator backend and frontend development, with completion due this upoming week.
LoRaWAN Maintenance and Development
Advanced architecture clarity and cross-team alignment through sharing of LoRaWAN and Cloud Gate architecture diagrams. Platform documentation coverage increased through finalized architecture diagrams.
Reduced operational risk in production LoRaWAN environments by correctly excluding inactive Laird gateways while preserving connectivity for active or sole-site gateways.
Amazon GREF Cross-team collaboration:
• Coordination with GREF API stakeholders on delivery timelines and authentication setup.
Architecture alignment shared with engineering stakeholders to unblock dependent development.
Lowlights
Complexity & Coordination Overhead
The breadth of parallel migration work increased coordination complexity across infrastructure, application, and documentation streams.
No material outages or customer-visible regressions were introduced, but future planning should consider scalability of the application to avoid needs for refactors and avoiding accumulating tech debt.
Overall
This weeks completed tickets were heavily focused on migration execution, deployment safety, and architectural clarity. Major portions of the platform migration advanced simultaneously, while deliberate safeguards were put in place to prevent data loss and reduce operational risk.
Architecture documentation and usability improvements strengthened shared understanding across teams, while refactoring and utility work paid down technical debt that would otherwise slow future development.
Overall, the work meaningfully improved platform safety, maintainability, and readiness for continued modernization, while keeping production stability intact.
Progress can now proceeed with Pulse Rate Calculator, Device Editor, and Device Dashboards approaching completion.
