Aqueduct Integration & Cross-Platform Data Delivery

Delivered a significant milestone in cross-platform connectivity by setting up cross-account AWS IoT Core MQTT publishing from WWOps to Aqueduct. This involved creating a Lambda function to forward decoded data packets from the WWOps MQTT broker to the Aqueduct platform, coordinating trust policy updates with the Aqueduct team to authorize the Lambda execution role, and deploying updates to the Decoder Lambda. This infrastructure enables real-time data flow between the two platforms and unblocks downstream Aqueduct development.

Completed the Atria API for Aqueduct initiative, including API planning documentation and endpoint design. These endpoints allow Aqueduct developers to fetch device and gateway data from Amazon WWOps, establishing a formal integration layer between the platforms. Together with the MQTT publishing work, this represents a major step toward a connected data ecosystem across Milvian’s product portfolio.

Water Dashboard Enhancements

Enhanced the Water Dashboard with several user-facing improvements: pulse rate display, device type filtering, per-site meter counts, and a CSV export capability. These additions improve data visibility and usability for stakeholders monitoring water consumption, and the export feature enables offline analysis and reporting workflows that were previously manual or unavailable.

Knowledge Transfer & Team Transition

Continued the Controls Transition knowledge transfer by walking Vishakha through the Quarterly Report, Value Reports, and Product Owner Meeting processes. As the Controls team takes on a larger share of leadership focus, this transfer ensures continuity of critical reporting and stakeholder management functions on the LoRaWAN and Atria side. This represents an opportunity for team members to take on expanded ownership and grow into broader responsibilities.

Cross-Team & Stakeholder Collaboration

Contacted Quae to share WWOps data context, continuing the cross-functional knowledge sharing effort initiated in prior weeks. This ongoing communication ensures that stakeholders outside the core team have the information needed to engage effectively with the platform’s data and capabilities.

Overall

This week marked a pivotal step in cross-platform integration, with the completion of both the Aqueduct MQTT publishing pipeline and the Atria API endpoints. These deliverables establish the real-time and on-demand data channels that will underpin future cross-product capabilities. Alongside these integration milestones, the team delivered meaningful improvements to the Water Dashboard, resolved a site-specific Atria bug, and continued the Controls Transition knowledge transfer. The platform is increasingly well-connected, reliable, and supported by a team that is actively building resilience through structured delegation and knowledge sharing.
